While it might be tempting to jump straight into kickboxing, we take a thoughtful, structured approach to ensure you’re fully prepared to learn and apply advanced techniques safely and effectively.

When Will I Get to Graduate to the Kickboxing Program?

Graduating to our Kickboxing program is an exciting step in your martial arts journey, and we want to ensure you’re fully prepared to take on more advanced techniques and sparring.Typically, athletes who consistently train in our Boxing Basics class can expect to graduate to Kickboxing after 3 to 6 months of focused, consistent training. However, the exact timing varies depending on individual progress, skill development, and coach evaluation.

Here’s what you’ll need to graduate:

  • Consistency in Training: Regular attendance and commitment to improving your skills are essential. Our coaches will assess your progress over time, so it’s important to stay consistent with your training.
  • Mastery of Boxing Basics: You should have a solid grasp of the fundamentals—footwork, fighting stance, punching techniques, and coordination—before transitioning to kickboxing.
  • Coach Approval: Graduation is ultimately up to the discretion of your coach. After observing your development, they will evaluate your readiness based on skill level, physical conditioning, and ability to apply the techniques learned in the Boxing Basics class.
